Grizzard Park Director

cgreen@ymcarome.org

Chris has been a pillar of the YMCA Rome Arsenal community since 2017, stepping into full-time leadership as the Director of Maintenance for the YMCA and Grizzard Park in 2023. In June 2026, Chris was promoted to Grizzard Park Director. In this expanded role, he oversees all operations across Grizzard Park, including the Arsenal Rome Soccer Club, the Vernon & Gaynelle YMCA, youth summer camps, and park maintenance.

An accomplished leader on and off the field, Chris also serves on the coaching staff for the Model High School Girls soccer team, recently assisting them to back-to-back state championship appearances—capturing the State Championship in 2025 and finishing as State Runner-Up in 2026. Throughout his tenure with Arsenal, he has coached boys and girls teams ranging from U6 to U19, more recently with a lot of focus on development in the Academy.

Chris’s leadership style is backed by nearly 20 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, where he specialized in building and leading teams in process engineering, maintenance, and operations management. He credits this rigorous background as the foundation for his ability to organize, plan, develop, and communicate effectively across all of his organizational and coaching roles.
