Arsenal Recreational Soccer shares the Rome YMCA mission of putting Christian principles into practice through soccer programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Spring 2026 Registration Opens January 2, 2026.

As of January 2 2026, the YMCA will be transitioning to a new membership and activities registration platform called Active Net. When you register you will be prompted to create an account. This platform has many new features that will make registration and payments so much easier! Please bare with us through the transition. Along with this, we will be transferring away from Playerspace to Team Sideline as our league platform. We know that changes can be frustrating, but we hope that these new platforms will bring ease and convenience to everyone!

Because this is a phased launch, program registrations until March will be offered at one simple flat rate for everyone, with traditional member discounts temporarily paused. This is a short-term change while we complete the full system transition.

Arsenal Recreational Soccer League centers around introducing the game and its fundamentals while having fun! Arsenal Recreational Soccer is for boys and girls, ages 4 to 13. The league is divided by age groups (U6 “Under Six”, U8, U10, U13 on the girls side U6, U8, U10, U13) and by gender. Basic skills are developed through games and fun activities. Every child plays at least one-half of every game. On and off the field, we value sportsmanship and the YMCA's core values of caring, respect, honesty, and responsibility. All Arsenal Rome Soccer games begin with a prayer.

Practice Schedule

Our recreational teams practice one day a week on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday at 5:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.
Practices start the week of February 23, 2026.

Game Schedule

Games start on Saturday, March 7, 2026. ALL GAMES WILL BE ON SATURDAYS.

If needed, make up games will be made on Tuesday and Thursday of the following week.
