 Join us for a summer of exciting  activities!

YMCA Day Camp is open to children age 6 to 12.

YMCA camps seek to provide a safe, fun-filled, creative, educational day camp experience utilizing Christian leadership to help children achieve a higher physical well-being, social growth, and the development of values. Our program reflects four core values, which are Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.

2026 Weekly Themes:

  1. May 26th - 29th: Y's Got Talent
  2. June 1st - 5th: Weird Science
  3. June 8th - 12th: Color Wars
  4. June 15th - 18th: Sports Camp
  5. June 22nd - 26th: Y-Olympics
  6. July 6th - 10th: Water Works
  7. July 13th - 17th: Camp Rock
  8. July 20st - 24th: Super Heroes

Dates:

  • WEEKLY CAMPS START: May 26th to July 24st, 2026
  • CAMP IS CLOSED: Friday, June 19th for Juneteenth & week of June 29 - July 3rd

Location:

Grizzard Park - 1170 Turner Chapel Rd SE, Rome, GA 30161

Times:

  • Drop Off/Arrival: 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
  • Camp Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Pick Up: 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Weekly Rates:

  • $150/week for YMCA Members
  • $175/week for Potential Members
  • Cost includes a $75 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit at the time of registration.

A Week of Camp includes:

  • Camper’s Choice & Play during early morning and late afternoon hours.
  • Daily Swimming 
  • Field Trips and Special Events (a small additional cost may apply)
  • Skill building related to STEAM, Arts and Humanities, Sports, and Outdoor Recreation Play.
  • Participates in Camp Reading Program Daily for 30 minutes.
  • Campers participate in our Safety Around Water program.
  • Character development with a focus on our core values: Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility
  • Building cultural awareness through learning, curiosity, and shared experiences.
  • A variety of onsite special activities, guest speakers, and facilitators.

*Dress for Playing Outside - sneakers and water bottle are Required.

*Breakfast and Lunch are provided.
