Complimentary Youth Programs

The Rome YMCA offers two complimentary Youth Programs. These programs are made possible by the generous support of the following:

Learn, Grow and THRIVE - Teen Boys Pathway to Empowerment

It’s Time to Unlock Potential 

The YMCA’s teen program is for young men ages 13 and up.

The focus of this program is to surround our Young men with positive people who are leaders in our community. Young Men with Dreams supports teens 
emotionally and socially; and includes enrichment activities that build job skills. 

The program will incorporate "real talk”, regarding how to conduct oneself as a young man, how to overcome barriers, and how to live a healthy lifestyle.

The Program is limited to 15 teens each semester, and ONLY 4 spaces are available for fall.

Young Men With Dreams is held at Restoration Rome • 1400 Crane Street • Rome, GA
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:15pm to 5:45pm.
 


A Complimentary Family YMCA Membership is available to all active Program Participants!!
Active participation is defined as Attending the program at least 80% of the time.

Learn, Grow & Thrive with the Y

Limited spaces are available for our Complimentary After School Program for elementary age children.  

Join the YMCA on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 2:45pm to 4:15PM

This Program is for 2nd - 6th graders and participation is complimentary

Join us for a Super Snack, Emotion Management Activities, Art as Therapy, STEAM Activities and Fitness for Wellbeing.

Come to the YMCA "blue door" off of 14th street at Restoration Rome.

Registration is required. A Parent/Guardian must complete enrollment forms.
