Reciprocity Programs

Your Y Membership Is Portable

The Rome YMCA participates in two programs that extend your membership beyond our facility. We also welcome members from other YMCAs that participate in these programs.  

My Y Is Now Every Y in Georgia

In today's busy world, you may find yourself away from your "Home" Y and that it is more convenient to utilize a Y in a different town. Now, full facility/full privilege YMCA members have the flexibility to use other Y facilities throughout Georgia, at no extra charge.

What You Need To Know

• The Reciprocal Membership Program is valid for YMCA full facility/ full privilege members only. Program-only participants may upgrade to a full membership at any time to qualify.
• Silver Sneaker members may use other Silver Sneaker locations only.
• Visitors to other Ys must present a valid YMCA membership card and photo ID upon their first visit and complete a visiting member waiver or standard membership application form with liability waiver.
• YMCA full facility/ full privilege members must use their home branch at least 50% of the time. Program discounts do not apply.
• Participating YMCAs reserve the right to restrict facility or  program access.
• Other restrictions may apply.

Nationwide Membership

Nationwide Membership enables you to visit any participating Y in the United States through membership at your “home” YMCA (your home location is the facility that enrolled you as a member and that collects your membership dues).

We offer this because we want to help you reach your health and wellness goals wherever you live, work or travel. This is an essential part of our cause of strengthening communities. 

What You Need to Know

• Valid for active, full facility YMCA members
• On a monthly basis, nationwide member visitors must use their home Y at least 50% of the time
• Program-only participants and special memberships are not eligible for Nationwide Membership
• Make sure the Y offers the services and amenities you plan to use
• Bring a photo ID with you for your visit
• You will be asked to sign a waiver when visiting another Y location    
• Contact the Y You Want to Visit and ask if Nationwide Membership is honored! More than 2,600 Y locations participate!
