The CARE Mural

 


  

The Rome YMCA in partnership with Rome Mural CoLab and the Harbin Clinic, is pleased to invite you to view the CARE Mural in the gymnasium of the Rome YMCA.  The mural is a vibrant, dynamic and interactive display designed to foster important and inclusive conversations about health and wellness through artistic expression. 

During the design phase of the project, area students submitted artwork depicting health and vitality which served as inspiration for the mural. Led by Rome Mural CoLab owners Ellie Borromeo and Xaivier Ringer, a panel of judges chose 20 winners from more than 1,000 inspiring entries. The CARE Mural Art Contest winners are:

This collaborative project was further enhanced by our community which helped create this exciting mural by joining the Rome Mural CoLab, Harbin Clinic and the Y on community paint days. Led by the Rome Mural Colab, over 100 individuals participated in painting the mural.
