Academy and Select Soccer Program-

Select soccer is an opportunity for a player to participate in a more competitive soccer environment.  The focus is built around player development with a higher training commitment.  Practices are held twice a week for an hour and a half, to two hours each practice with a licensed coach.  Teams are selected by age group through a tryout process.  YMCA Arsenal Rome Academy and Select teams play home matches at Grizzard Park, and also travel to compete with other soccer clubs around Northwest Georgia and the metro Atlanta area. Academy teams are divided into age groups ranging from 8 to 11 years of age.  Select teams are divided into age groups ranging from 12 to 18 years of age.  Boys and girls are placed on separate teams.   

 

Academy Team (U9-U12) Tryouts- June 2, 4, 6 from 5:30-7:30 PM on June 2 & 6 and 10 AM-12 PM on June 4th @ Grizzard Park

 

Cost:

Tryout Fee (Includes Tee shirt) - $25

Empoli/ Arsenal Team Camp Deposit - $25

Registration Fee - $260 (Can be broken into 2 payments; $130 due by June 24th w/ final pmt of $130 due by July 30th)

 

Other Fees:

Uniform Fee - $118

Trainer Fees - $60 per month (training months only)

 

 

Select Team (U13-U-19) Tryouts- June 9, 11, 13 from 5:30-7:30 PM on June 9 & 13 and 10 AM-12 PM on June 11th @ Grizzard Park

Cost:

Empoli/ Arsenal Team Camp Deposit - $25

Registration Fee - $300 (Can be broken into 2 pmts; $150 due by June 24th w/ final pmt of $150 due by July 30th)

Empoli/Arsenal Academy & Select Team Camps – July 25-29

 

Cost: $150 per player

Train with world renowned coaches from Italy this Summer at Grizzard Park

-Academy Teams (U9-U12) - 9 AM- 12 PM

-Select Teams (U13-U19) – 5 PM- 8 PM

*This camp is mandatory for all Academy and Select Players

 

 

YMCA Arsenal Recreational Soccer Day Camp with Josh Severns- July 18-22 from 9AM-12 PM @ Grizzard Park

 

Cost: $50 per player

 

This camp will focus on good techniques with the soccer ball through a fun playing experience for recreational soccer players.  Come train with the coaches from Shorter University.   

 

 

YMCA Arsenal Rome 5v5 Summer Blast Soccer Tournament- August 6-7 @ Grizzard Park

 

Matches are played with 4 players and 1 goalkeeper on a smaller field.  This is a fast paced exciting game for Recreational, Academy and Select teams.  Tournament is played in a round robin format with a minimum of 3 games for each registered team. 

 

Cost - $150 per team (U10-U12)

           $175 per team (U13-U19)
