Recreational Soccer Leagues – for ages 4 to 13 for boys and 4 to 15 for girls. Registration begins July 15- September 1. Practices start the week of September 7th. Games are played on Fridays and Saturdays with an occasional weekday game. Games begin September11th and end November 13th. Focus on this league is participation and fun. Basic skills of the game are developed through games and activities. Every child is required to play at least one half of every game. Sportsmanship and values are also key components of this league. Every game starts with a prayer and ends with a handshake. Every child receives an award at the end of the season and there is a season-ending cookout for players and their families.
Age Groups
Age groups are U6, U8, U10, U14, U15, with separate boys and girls divisions in each age group.
Cost
YMCA Members: $55
Non Members: $80
Cost includes end of season award, cookout and Georgia Soccer Association registration. A $5 jersey fee is added for players who do not have the reversible red and white jersey.
